Presentation of the Equita Lyon event
Built around high-level sport, a show dedicated to horses and unique equestrian artistic creation, Equita Longines is the largest annual equestrian gathering in Europe, part of the FEI World Cup circuit.
Equita is the name given to the horse show which takes place every year towards the end of October, beginning of November at Eurexpo, the Parc d'Expositions Chassieu.
In 2014, for his 20th anniversary, Equita Lyon welcomed nearly 150,000 spectators. In 2017, Equita Lyon welcomed around 170,000 people.
Created in 1994, the Equita Show will extend over nearly 140,000 m2 in 2023 exhibition, more than 3,500 horses are present on the site during the 5 days of competitions at the highest level. Nearly 800 exhibitors are also present.
