The largest equestrian event brought together 13,838 riders who took part in an event organized by the President of the French Equestrian Federation, Serge Lecomte (France) in Lamotte, France, between July 7 and 29, 2012.
The French Ponies Open
It takes place in the second week of July and brings together all the Pony events in the different disciplines (Show jumping, dressage, eventing, pony games, equifun, barrel racing and vaulting). All these events are reserved for riders and ponies who have qualified during the season according to the scale established each year by the French Equestrian Federation and take place by level and sometimes by size of the ponies (example: CSO C elite, reserved for ponies classified in category C).
